Job
description
- Project charter / Concept note
- Proven
working experience as a lead Project Engineer in Pharmaceutical (API) Greenfield
& brownfield projects.
- Assist
in the preparation of business case/ Project charter/ Concept note to
User.
- Ensures
the Equipment engineering support to different projects Tenders and job start-ups.
- Develop
plant layout and prepare plans for facilities and requirements.
- Estimation
of cost for budgetary proposal which includes operational cost.
- Introduction
of New technologies in the project.
- Recommendation
and implementation of Energy Saving Systems/equipment in new Project.
- Detailed
knowledge of API Processes and utility Equipment like reactors, Centrifuges,
Dryers Isolators, boilers, Chillers, etc. in terms of design &
functions.
- Should
have Knowledge of HAVC system, documentation & guidelines related to pharmaceutical
standards. (E.g. USFDA, WHO ISO, etc.)
- Should
have exposure to USFDA and other regulatory agencies.
- Excellent
knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
- Advanced
in MS Office skills, MS Project Software.
2. Project Planning
- Preparation
of URS/ RDS/Technical specification sheet/ Terms of reference/layouts and
drawing.
- Carry
out Risk assessment in coordination with Safety/ User.
- Preparation
of bar chart /project schedule along with major milestones.
- Submit
the CER and follow for approval.
3. Project
Execution and Monitoring
§
Delivery of the project by the project
deliverables & schedule.
§
Follow up with the purchasing department and supplier to get the
required material in time.
§
Coordinates with contractors and subcontractors for scheduling
of work.
§
Coordination with concerned department heads for timely execution
of engineering activities.
§
Monitoring and tracking of all activities ensuring time, cost, and
quality are maintained.
§
To ensure that all safety norms
are followed by the contractors at the time of Mechanical work.
§
Monitor compliance to
applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
§
Assist in FAT/SAT as per URS.
